Orlando, Florida (March 8, 2008) - Just when you thought you'd heard the last from TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT, the
film is up and moving again as good health slowly returns to its creator.
Producer Kevin Collins had had a terrible year fighting off ill health. We had hoped he'd
be back at the helm of the production team before the end of last year but the bugaboos had the upper hand through most
of 2007. Unbeknownst to his cast and crew, Collins was in very poor health during all of the location filming
last year and suffered serious setbacks during the heatwave that struck during the Stafford filming. Kevin is taking
his medication and following his own doctor's rules and regulations and expects to be back at work on TAKE-AWAY
SPIRIT within the next couple of weeks. He is also personally planning the DVD release of APOCALYPSE OF THE FLESH EATERS from his sick bed.
Along with Peter J. Evanko and Tim Davis, Kevin hopes to be healthy enough to oversee
the special effects filming of miniature sets for TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT before
the end of April.
Tim Davis, producer, actor, and special effects artist, has also braved his way through his health set
backs and has pushed ahead with production on his own comedy thriller NUDIST CAME ZOMBIE MASSACRE.
A release date for this magnum opus should be announced this summer.
