(June 25, 2008) - Brad Frikkers and Caroline Cho filmed pick up scenes for  TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT in Pennsylvania.  Derek Haupt took over second unit photography.
 
(May 5, 2007) - Cast and crew are assembling once again to push ahead with another big weekend of filming, this time in the wooly backwoods of Stafford, VA.  There will also be some key filming done on location at Ann's Wings and Things in Stafford. 
 
(February 25, 2007) - Some wonderfully strong scenes were filmed this week on the restaurant set of TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT.  Key cast members included Brad Frikkers, Shoyi Cheng, Elizabeth Terrell, Libertad Green, Sandy Lisiewski and Tim Davis.
 
(December 22, 2006) - Illness has sadly forced Victoria Reichenberg to drop out of the cast.  While Victoria will be missed, she has been replaced by Sandy Lisiewski.  A long 10-day shoot was completed this week in Vienna, VA. 
 
(October 30, 2006) - A brace of scenes has been completed in Brooklyn, New York and Vienna, Virginia.  Key players in the shoot were Amy Brown, Shoyi Cheng, Brad Frikkers, Caroline Cho and Victoria Reichenberg.
 
(June 7, 2006) - Location scouting has been completed in Virginia.  New cast members to be added.  Script update completed.
 
(April 10, 2006) - Due to scheduling conflicts, the producers have regrettably announced that Emil Lee will no longer be available to play the role of Yim Fong.
 
(April 1,  2006) - Caroline Cho and Michelle Zheng have begun filming scenes as The Demoness and May Siu Chen.
 
(March 23, 2006) - Cora Chan has completed filming her scenes as reporter Cindy Li.
 
(March 14, 2006) - Tim Davis is back home and doing well after his recent surgery.
 
(March 6, 2006) - Tim Davis is recovering following surgery to remove a kidney on February 28.  Please keep Tim in your thoughts and prayers.  He plans to return to work on TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT on schedule in April.
 
(March 2, 2006) - Tiffany Sinclair and Brian Sheridan were interviewed by the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin. 
 
(November 7-30, 2005) - Production begins in New York.  First scenes began on November 18.
 
(September 2, 2005) - From AnimalsAsia.com: Rescue of three bears: two young Brown Bears who were living in a pit outside a monastery in Litang on the border of China and Tibet and a young, lonely Moon Bear in Tangjiahe.  All three beauties are now safe and sound at our Chengdu Rescue Centre and their rescue brings the number of bears rescued in China by Animals Asia to 188!! 
 
(July 12, 2005) - 2nd unit production continues.  14 new résumés under consideration by producers.
 
(April 27, 2005) - One Shot Productions and TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT have commited a percentage of profits to Animals Asia Foundation (please visit via the link at the bottom of each of our pages).
 
(April 12, 2005) - 11 additional résumés received through today.  All are being processed by the producers.
 
(December 28, 2004) - New Jersey interior set location has been reconsidered and canceled.  New interior locations again being scouted.
 
(December 26, 2004) - 16 additional résumés received through today.  All are being processed by the producers.
 
(September 1, 2004) - Additional supporting roles and requirements added to the official website - please check CASTING INFORMATION
 
(August 27, 2004) - Location filming complete in Shanghai, China PRC.  Assembled footage being edited by Kevin Collins and Peter J. Evanko.
 
(April 15 - May 10, 2004) - Location filming to begin in Hong Kong and Guangdong Province, One Shot Productions commissioned 2nd Unit.
 
(April 4, 2004) - Main interior set has been located in New Jersey.
 
(March 16, 2004) - 42 résumés have been submitted and received for acting roles.  16 résumés have included audition tapes.  THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to submit.  We will notify individually and post all final decisions.

(November 4, 2007) - TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT. has completed 99% of principal photograhy and now the production has shifted into special effects mode with work commencing on miniatures and other models.
 
(October 13, 2007) - Production on TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT. moved back to Stafford, VA for BRAD FRIKKERS. AYLOR WELLS, LIBERTAD GREEN, ANTHONY CARRINGTON, LUCY ASHTON and CAROLINE CHO
 
(October 7, 2007) - Brooklyn, New York was the location for RACHELLE WILLIAMS and LUCY ASHTON to complete key scenes in "Nadine Corda's Mansion" for TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT.
 
(May 22, 2007) - Another grueling week of shooting begins in Stafford, VA to take TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT to near completion.

(May 6, 2007) - One Shot Productions has found some very impressive musical talent.  And a surprise musical guest has committed to include some exceptionally memorable music to TAKE-AWAY SPIRIT.
 
(November 30, 2006) - DENNIS LEE has been signed to play the role of Yau Fai.  LIBERTAD GREEN has been signed to play the role of Ethel Hampton. ANTHONY CARRINGTON has been signed to play the role of Victor Hampton.  CASTING IS NOW COMPLETE.
 
(October 27, 2006) - AYLOR WELLS has been signed to play the  role of Officer Hendry.  LUCY ASHTON has been signed to play the role of Eufrat. CHRISTINA HONG has been signed to play the role of Philomena Hampton
 
(September 15, 2006) - JEANNIE CONG has been signed to play the role of Mrs. Morris.  JOE BILLI has been signed to play the role of Mr. Morris.
